Jordyn Howard

Jordyn is currently a student at  Northwestern University with a full-ride scholarship through the Questbridge organization. During her time there, she plans to study Economics, Communications, and Data Science. Her scholarship has afforded her the ability to study abroad during any portion of her time at Northwestern with no additional cost. During her summer, Jordyn plans to capitalize on this opportunity during the summer ion 2023 by traveling to India.

 

Desiring to have a focus on law, Jordyn spent all four of her high school years working with the Debate Team, eventually working her way up the team captain junior and senior year. She also worked to establish her schools Mock Trial Team during junior year and leading them to much success during her senior year. Aside from her profound ardor for the legal system, Jordyn had a passion for her peers and for mental health. This led her to create the Columbus Mental Health Awareness Group her junior year, providing students with a safe space to interact with other students. 

 

With a diverse application centering around law, civic duties, and mental health, Jordyn was able to acquire acceptances to over THIRTY universities with 2 MILLION in awarded scholarships. Amongst those acceptances, some of the most notable include Northwestern University (Questbridge National Match Recipient), Tufts University (Full Tuition Scholarship), Vanderbilt (Full Tuition Scholarship), Williams College (full Tuition Scholarship), University of Pittsburgh (Partial Scholarship and Automatic Acceptance to UPitt Law School), University of Georgia (Diversity Scholarship), and Georgia Tech (Partial Scholarship).

Having experienced the college admissions process in real time, Jordyn understands how difficult it can be to attain your own success without the finances to afford some of the luxuries college admissions has to offer. Despite going to school in an affluent portion of her community, she was unable to afford tutors, prep books, and all of the other expensive amenities that her peers had access to. In the face of such adversity, Jordyn found a way to create her own definition of success that has provided her with a full scholarship to one of the top universities in the country. Armed with her past experiences, she is dedicated to creating similar success for students of all financial classes. Jordyn is excited to work with you and create the success you desire to see!
